PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
James D. Wilets received his Juris Doctor degree from Columbia University
School of Law in 1987 and his Masters degree with a concentration
in International Law from Yale University in 1994. He has worked for
one of the world’s largest law firms, Jones, Day, Reavis &
Pogue, and has served as corporate counsel to some of the world’s
largest companies.
Mr. Wilets is a legal consultant to Font & Diamantis, P.A., specializing
in international business and trade, as well as corporate and entertainment
law. In addition, he is a tenured Professor of Law at Nova Southeastern
University, in Fort Lauderdale. He teaches Entertainment Law, International
Business Transactions, Private and Public International Law, Comparative
Law, International Law and Human Rights.
